What thickness is the steel used for the shackles, you could just cut the support bars out. as ling as the plate is 4mm+
I'm up the shop tonight so will look for you.
So far only found a size for the lower seal
Stock is 30x42x8 but a easily a available 30x42x6 should work fine
I'm sure the input seal will be easy to get a replacement for as well, I hope so as mines leaking on my power steering

Damn I got so caught up fixing stuff on my sj and my dad nearly setting fire to his tonight that I forgot to look at the steering boxes i have (think i have 3-4?)Sorry matey, ill pop up there tomorrow after work.
And before you ask, The
positive feed to the starter had somehow ended up rubbing on his steering column, this wearing through it and shorting out! It pretty much melted off the negative terminal on the battery and he got to it before it all went up in flames! Think we've got some wiring loom repair work to do this weekend now

cool ill let you know.
It was actually quite funny, he pulled up to the workshop and then just as he was about to come in the door all I heard was 'f@#% I'm on fire'
I ran outside to see him with the bonnet up ripping the wires off the battery as it was all smoking, we were a bit confused as to how it happened at first as it seemed quite random but then spotted the starter earth straying very close to the column.
Yeah I quite enjoy a bit of wiring! it's quite clean, quiet and relaxing compared to fabrication
