I've come to fit and the plug and bracket don't match,, any ideas please

Would it be possible to change the plug??
Have you seen this plug before because I can't find one like it online.

Fairly sure that is the Japanese plug / alternator

Or if you can't be bothered with the plug....
ring connectors on the ends of the white and yellow wires... then connected to terminal B in the pic... then spade connector on the white and red wire, connected to (i think) the right side pin (in the pic) of the alternator socket
if the dash battery light doesn't come on with the ignition, its a different pin
I prefer those alternators as I think it's the one with the internal cooling fan.... doesn't spray mud and water across your engine bay that way

you could just put some spade terminals on the relevant wires and just push them onto the correct pin? there is a picture of that alternator wiring here if you need
