the samurai will not see much mud any more, so I'm slowly setting it up for road.
yesterday I monted the bulbar, last week I changed the wheels and maybe next year the air-con!

I wish we lived somewhere that justified having aircon!!!

I would love the time/space/money to have another horse one day.

I want an American Quarter horse.

Here in Italy (Tuscany) we need air-con in summer..xpecially in a black zuki that get hot as a pizza oven.
Even mine is cabrio, I avoid taking off the soft-top, because it protects from direct hot sunlight thak cooks the plastics of the zuki and sincerely the air you may ever take without couverture isn't far sufficient to fight the hot italian summer sun. As if it's does not seem fairly enough, when you hit trafic in the period between may and septembre, staying in a convertible zuki is pretty like a suicide/homicide (in case you have friends onboard) in a crematorium with your buttocks sticked onto plastic seats.

Nonetheless, air-con, setted with warm air temperature, is useful also in winter, since it helps getting rid of humidity.

Yes they are. Mine is lovely (and not because it's mine..but because he often behaves like a dog), he kisses me, recognises my zuki when I arrive at the barn and now he starts comng trotting whn I call his name.

I purchased him when he was 3yrs old and loved him at...3rd sight ^__^

Other breed has, for example, more 'go', more blood, more springs, more strenght, more 'calmness', QH are special breed to me, because is pretty easy finding, among them, individuals who has big hearts and lot of brain and that's what i'm looking fr.

As for off-road vehicles... QH are the "samurai" of breeds. Compact, nimble, with strong hind-wheels/quarters, not so tall but with lot of fuel ready to use immediately to burn traffic lights but non exactly made for long distances at top speed on the M62.

I've seen a lot of videos on quarter horses, but I've never met one. I've always had the feeling that they're playful - and definitely intelligent. When you see them herding (especially when they're cutting), there's something that reminds me of a sheepdog.

Their reaction times are incredible, and they obviously enjoy it. It's that power they have that makes me want one if I ever do get another horse - I'm a big fellow, I'd need a horse with a lot of go...

On the heat I was out near Bergamo last January and is was -20. Went back again in the July and it was 40deg. I was sweating just drinking beer thinking about having to work.

As for horse I've been riding a couple of times, nothing special, horse, saddle, reigns. Clydesdale horses (they are huge!) on the Isle of Skye, some kinda horse in Wales and cowboy horses (honestly that's a proper thing) at a ranch in the grand canyon.
