you take the bike home at night when it's fine, only to find out it's raining in the morning?

I don't mind riding in the wet..it's the snow I'd like to avoid!

Got some trick billet rearsets for the race project and 2 new levers for the princely sum of £3 each. I have joined a 2 stroke forum to pick their brains a bit..for one I'd like to know what this front brake is...it certainly isn't standard.

Can you post a better picture of the front caliper?

I had a strange dream last night and I'm blaming it on you and your 2 stroke enthusiasm as I don't really know anyone else who's got the bike bug at the moment! Any way here's what happened: A bloke pulled up beside me and I got on the back of his bike (I think it was an Ural) he was a big bloke (and I'm not small) and it was a little tight but we managed, he set off down the road and suddenly we took flight, we flew through the sky and landed at my local ASDA supermarket where we got off. There was another bike there in the car park that was mine and I could have a go on, it was a red Yamaha RD 50, it was tiny and I screamed up and down ASDA car park until I got it flying, I can't really remember much else other than souring through the sky with the pint size stroker on full song,

It was a great dream, so thanks for firing my subconscious imagination & keep the updates coming!

A Ural? Wow.

Glad you had a good 'un...though I think the only way an RD50 will fly is if you ride it off a cliff...

Don't dream about doing that :hahaha:

Kawazonkey2's casings are all polished up now...had a trial fit, and the brakes on the RD are a D model caliper on E model forks. Apparently the D caliper was superior and was used on the TZ's too.

Stop buying things, or it'll take me all day just to look at your toys when I pop over!

That's me done (and broke until Piglet5 sells). You'll love the LC. Totally original...but not for long!
