Are the 5spokes 8" wide then? I am gonna go 35 myself eventually but might go 35x10.50 as I've always had wide tyres so wouldn't mind trying some thinner ones

dunno though was contemplating my buckshots going on the LWB

yeah they are 8" wide. I want to try wider even tho I've watched you float a few times when I've still had some penetrating bite!

I'm hoping going from 31" ATs to 33" MTs won't be too bad. Think the more aggressive tread with partially offset the extra width and floating.
Which tyres are you thinking about Dan? From those posts presume you're going for 10" wheels?
Cheers
Jordi

4 inch lifted YJ springs!
At my house ready for a good clean up before I find time to start building the kit to fit them
Considerably bigger than I thought!

4" of lift and virtual. Get some big boots under that Dan.
My 33s will be going on with virtual lift and 1.5" springs. Clearance at the back wont be a problem. Front should be ok, cut lots out. If not it'll be Mr Angry again.
You going for a custom job? Homebrew brackets and stuff?
Not sure what access you have to machine shop equipment. I can tell you i'm awfully jealous of those that have access. Parts other can fab and machine. I have to pay top dollar for!
Need to make good friends with someone at a fabricators / machine shop fast!
Bring on the build photos!

£230 plus the fuel to collect em. They are actually brand new but been sat under his truck for a while so quite a bit of surface rust.
Got lathe, mill, bandsaw, few pillar/radial drills, bench grinders, and 2 welders in the workshop at work. So hope to make most of the kit in spare time at work.
