It was the switch. I should have taken a photo of the guts of the switch, but having dismantled it,
cleaned up the green contacts, I have a photo of the end result.
I am getting to the end of my electrical mystery tour.
I now need to find the guts of a horn push.

I got a chrome horn button off eBay and drilled a hole in the dash for it.

That might well be the option I have to follow.
At the moment I have the connection up the steering column, finishing with a wire which when touched to earth sounds the horn. I also have the horn push cover but none of the 'guts' and looking at the parts manual there are a lot of 'guts'.

It is no good, I just had to take the LJ out on her maiden voyage the weather was just too nice.
So we went and picked up some 'fuel', in fact it was such a nice day we went and picked up some more.
