 - embarrassed, I've done virtually nothing! I feel a bit bad because over the past 2 nights I've dreamt of SJ's, on the first nights dreaming the windscreen fell out of the surround & i was trying to refit it in the middle of an A road & I had to move because it was busy & cars needed me to move! My second dream I was in a car sales lot looking at 4 SJ's I was deciding which one I wanted to buy, I was choosing between lifted & standard, & hard & soft top - Wiered eh?

Back to my zook, I know I need a few jobs before MOT, these are
1 - brake hoses on the front, my old ones rubbed in the back of the tyres on lock & rubbed the sheathing off them
2 - king pin bearings, mucho wobbley & need replacing
3 - tyres rub on leaf springs on lock,
4 - spring plates need fitting so u can re attach my arb, need to prep the plates first & new u bolts

What will need doing after MOT
5 - welding. Sills & rear arches
6 - crank / gearbox seal (new clutch whilst I'm in there)
7 - rebuild on my old(standard) t box & refit, rocklobster is to low for the road for me
8 - fit some sort of sleeving into the chassis where the calmini kit attaches - I don't like how the reversal tower attaches
9 - manufacture & weld some bullbar mounts to my Calmini reversal tower
10 - paintwork + underseal

So that's it,
I feel inspired so tonight I'll email dave from llama4x4 for some new brake hoses & u bolts.

Don't need the arb for the MOT if that is the only reason you are changing the spring plates.

Little days work there and you've got a road legal Zook.
