I know what you mean Tramp, not a fan of the tacky Samba rip offs either though! I used to have a Daihatsu Hi-Jet 990cc, used to be able to get the back wheels spinning up through to third gear easy peasy
How about one of the new Fiat 500s, my step-Mum got one last year, and they're actually pretty nice. Not a very manly car though!

i quite like the fiat 500's that new twin air engine sounds great, its all bubbly more like an old motorbike although i wouldn't pay the extra £1000 for it when it does the ame mpg as the 1.2!
I'll be totally honest I've been looking at fiat 126's on ebay for the past week, they are great novelty cars and quite reasonable! I think I'll buy one eventually
