looking good
, give you a tip on your doors , soak the screws with wd40 or some strong fluid apparently diesel works ? , get a shitty screwdrive and chip all the paint around them and start them off hiting a screwdriver in the screw and twisting at the same time if that makes sense?
otherwise your just snap your screwdrivers head clean off

yeah the look nice and shiny even though its stainless still they will be buggers probably to get out and even worse its allen key head to be honest i would modify the actually hinge , (one of the clever chaps on her has done it i belive or knows how to!) , were it just lifts of leaving one half of the hinge on the door , the other on the body etc

Those stainless bolts on ebay are a rip off. I got enough to doo 3 trucks including the smaller ones for the screen to roll bar links on a soft top for less than a tenner.
Seem to come back out easy enough but only time will tell. Anything is better than the originals.
Keep up the good work
Dan

Nice build so far! Looking forward to seeing your zuk transformed.
BTW - you're much better at documenting your work than I am...

Hey there Daz, nice to see you are getting on with the anus, it is looking brilliant. I sold it to you and just letting you know I am about to embark on restoeing my yellow anus. I will probably try picking your brains on a few points.

nice to see you dave ye truck is going well i thought it would of been easier to swap engines over and put in a descent engine for the meanwhile so i can strip and resemble the old engine and cant wait to get it on the road and meet up again for some green laning and hows your truck doing.
and ye might try and get a spare pair of hinges and make them look like these
http://www.zuk-n-ovations.com/pages/bod ... inges.html
if i do f**k them up i can use me old hinges and buy some bolts to use

$239 bit steep for a set of hinges, I have seen it done with the originals they just ground the top off the pin to lift doors on and off. Heres a pic of mine with doors off a couple of years back.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/44234282@N06/4759353645/ .........Note the wing mirror bolted onto the bonnet, you will need an offside mirror to keep legal. The bolts on original hinges were pigs and there is nothing behind to really smack the inpact driver, I ended up chiseling mine around untill loose. Hopefully mine will be back on the road before the end of summer.
