I got my mounts of ebay, nice and simple 3" rubber strip with a hole at one end and L bracket riveted on the other, all bolted on the original mounts on the chassis

Thanks guys, mine has one rubber mount and one solid mount at the moment but I have one rubber mount and a funny looking mount to fit before it goes for test
I'm just constantly knackered at the mo so progress is there but it's slow... I'll get some.pics up soon.

there has been progress !!!!
all wiring is in and finished off . . . and . . .
everything works

made up a new rear door card from 6 mm ply and some faux leather ready to drill speaker holes in and mount an amp in future

new radio is in and working and got my 5 ball on the gear stick, got a 4 ball to go on the t box

interior light is in and wired up, i had some lying around so figured i'd make the most of it

Nice work!!! Apart from that bloody monster can!!!! If that's still there if I ever see your sj in the flesh I'm personally removing it!
use a cider can or something

its been on pretty much since i got my sj
. . . i dont think it will come off easily, i think i glued the coil into it and fieed it with expanding foam then used bond and seal to attach it to the mount

Sent off for a new log book today, got my rear speakers mounted in the panel and got.the amp on it too, just need to wait for some trim fixing plugs to cone in at work.so I can mount it properly
I was going to put a sub box in.the passenger rear wing but I'll put that on hold for now and just connect the amp to the rear speakers until I make the sub box.
