Thanks Robbie,
I took it to work with me today - back to normal and faultless! On the way home I took 'the long way' which involved a few lanes I have seen but wanted to explore,
one track I followed ended up with a rusty trailer blocking a field
Another lane,
Then I topped it off by traversing my favourite local lane!

Ha, not for that bit, but I knew that as the lane dropped down into the bottom of the valley there was a stream (and last time it was flowing over the road) also there are some big ruts which can be a bit slippy with the water, I decided not to chance it, but when I made the bottom it wasn't too bad just a few muddy puddles!

So, my mrs's Picasso did a good impression of a fish tank following the torrential rain. Hence today she took it to the garage to get its drain cleared, that meant my shit box Clio got upgraded to school run duty and The zook ended up on commuting duty. The benefit to this is the long way home. Half way down a lane I frequent I noticed that a gate had been installed
I've never been down that turning before anyway and didn't even know it was a green lane, the thing that suprised me was the signage I didn't realise they could have a road that was only open half the year?
Anyway, I continued on and took a lane that I hadn't travelled before, it was pretty flat but it was overgrown! Nevertheless I enjoyed exploring it.

I'd suspect it's just the camera/phone's light metering compensating for the levels.
As the truck is stopped, looks like a longish exposure?
Personally, I wouldn't like a dash that over bright if it was like that in reality.

It's common for unsurfaced rights of way to be closed to vehicles etc for the winter months to protect them from damage while the ground is wet and soft...we have quite a lot down our way like that...personally I think it's a good thing I'd rather that than shut for vehicles completely.

So today this happened........
.
A g16b lump from this vitara
Boom, so advice, I was going to use my SJ inlet manifold with my SJ Weber, will this fit under the bonnet or would I be better getting the 1.6 manifold altered for an SU?
Secondly my exhaust, will my existing 1.3 manifold fit?
Finally is there anything I should do to the engine before I fit it?
Thanks

That's an injected Vit lump. Would be good if you can keep that rather than the carb!
