Side to Side knock

I think the innertube is to stop them clattering about.. like a mini shock absorber between the leafs. This was on an american site that i read it on tho, on a 50 ton chevy silverado

I'm not sure i would use rubber, surely it would make it harder for the leaves to move across each other and you want them to be able to slide and move.

Fair enough... I'll go with silicone spray untill i can get hold of some pfte sheeting.
