The more cars come, the more breakdowns there will be
But then again, the more hands there will be to fix it
I just wish I had taken a spare clutch with me... I did think about it before I left!! lol
Then I could have done the clutch AND the diff myself at the side of the road

What would it be like going over the Alps in May?

The snow will be receding by May... March and April are apparently quite snowy still...
and besides you will all be in 4x4s and not towing anything!

I was reading that some of the roads are closed until the end of May, they don't open until the risk of avalanche has passed. The lower roads can be a bit dull by comparison.
