Watch out for the springs hitting the brake calipers on full lock, some 3" lift springs bow a lot and it causes brake failure until you pump them back up again. Some people have modified the wishbones to get the springs to sit straighter.

Been there done that.

If I put.these springs in as they are I'd have 4"+ on the front. I've got to fit.em up see how they are and remove a couple of.coils.

From my experience people who fit un cut merc springs always suffer this problem.

Cutting springs increases the spring rate, you know?

You're ready for that?

Yeah mate should be fine, its been done to death on these type of springs (Mercedes w202) so it should be fine, I made sure I done as much homework as possible in using them before I purchased them, just didn't have the heart to spend £150 on a pair of 3" fronts from the few ebay company's that sale them, I dont trust any u.k based company's apart from bits4vits and jimnybits and they don't sale them. Word on the grape vine is that most ebay places sale these springs already cut anyway but that's none of my business haha

Got some things tied up on the truck today.

Painted the slam panel and surrounding areas, got underneath cleaned up and sealed and inner arches are all cleaned up and painted.

Also got the diff drop brackets fitted and a couple of other bits.

That looks like a much lower spring rate than the stock coil.

Really? Its Exactly the same thickness although the picture doesn't show it very well, oh and I took 2 coils off it and there fitted up on the Vitara, wheels are on the floor and its given it the lift I wanted and its not bouncing around or too stiff.

Nevermind I'm sure ill be fine
