Its not the neatest repair job, but it certainly does the job
Still not sure about the tyres, the plan was to put 31s on but now im thinking i might go for broke and try and squeeze some 33s on there.

The ones on there at the moment are 235 75 15 which i think are 29".
Bit worried about buying 33s incase they dont fit and i have to get the grider back out again

Ive cut all mine out a few inches and wudnt like to try 33s. Have u lifted it at all ferris?
I think my arches look 'full' as its on standard suspension. Looks mad, moves ok. But i think 31s maybe the limit. Looking at your photos uve chopped more out. Any chance u can borrow sum 33s of anyone down there and try them?

I like it!
it's gonna be the hard top version of mine with those rims and virtual lift
I can pop over and you can try one of my wheels for size if you want! also the dizzy housing should just unbolt off the back of the head IIRC

Managed to get the body off today
Just got to drown it in underseal now to try and keep the tin worm at bay.

I like the bare bone look. Just weld some seats on and hay presto. A kick ass truggy.

Gotta admit. I love the fact your doing this under a tarp, in what appears to be a field. Its as if u just stopped whilst out laning for an overhaul.
Is there a fully equipped workshop your just not showing in the fotos?

Nice to see it coming along so well, while the bodys off you should weld up along the inside edge of the box section sills for a bit of extra strength. give me a shout if you need a hand re-fitting the body.
