Ye true but I just want to cool my engine bay a little as it gets really hot when out greenlaning
As in Hot on the temp gauge? If the rad is clean and cooling system is in good nick then it shouldn't get hot, especially with a stock fan and shroud fitted. I presume you have checked the water level hasn't gone down? is the thermostat opening fully at the correct temp?
I agree with Tom, when it comes to an offroader that is used in wet environments exhaust wrap isn't really a good idea, it will hold water in and corrode your exhaust at a faster rate than normal.

How hot is hot, your only out pottering about greenlaning at most, sj engine will survive on no water and hot on gauge. Probably due to all that exhaust manifold pipework filling engine bay and not heat absorbing cast iron lump you had originally. If you want to lose some heat cut some holes in your bonnet.

Well It wasn't too bad it has gone hotter in.my engine bay as I have put my Janspeed exshaust on
But I might take the heat wrap of as I don't.want it to trap any water underneath it and rust

A little update I got bored today and a bit yesterday so I built a little box to go in my boot and tad dah stop everything rolling around in the back when going offroading
I'm well pleases with it I might get some fabric to go over it some thing like speaker fabric or some black thin carpet but I havnt really decided yet so that's that

Ye them radios are good
Ye the box is made out of ply wood so it is nice a strong and it should last a long time
I was thinking of covering it in spaeker fabric just to cover up the gaps I made by not measuring properly
