Bowser. LWB J20a + 03-72LE & 33s
Re: Lwb daily drive and laner build
Cheers guys, I can’t wait until it’s done either as much as I love the swb it’s time to move on!
Another section welded in, it is not easy to do this on a Lwb keeping the outer panel perfect, better than it was but I’m gonna do some more fettling. Moved back onto the rear bed last night, the support bar will be repaired when the body is off and I have access.

Good work Scottie, will be good when its done
Re: Lwb daily drive and laner build
Crap a Lot of my pics seem to have disappeared, I'll fix those asap.
So before the 2 black SWB SJs came along I did get some more work done to this since the last update.
Perhaps I should focus on one build at a time the reason this has been put on the back burner is because I don't want it rushed and it's quite a complicated build with the J20 and X90 gearbox. But with my new job I have quite a long commute to work so the blue SJ just doesn't suit my needs and its no longer practical as a daily, the black SWB will be cheaper to run, still be good off road,+ have 4 seats and it'll mean I can sell the old blue 410 sooner.

Shame you have to sell the blue one mate. Been part of you for so long now...
If it ticks over...leave it
Re: Lwb daily drive and laner build
Ah well you see I'm kinda not selling it now. I'm more Half selling it The body is going on the chassis of one of my other ones, with the 1.6 and 33s and that is being sold. Then the Black body off 'Too many Zooks" is going to be finished and used for Blue, complete with a removable tin top.donkeychomp wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 11:31 pmShame you have to sell the blue one mate.
