Ah yes I forgot you ran that set up I just went back and looked at your pics. Would be the easiest option to keep a similar set up. Much easier than fitting them in with SPUA that's for sure.

so I decided to modify and fit the toyota hilux prop I had in the garage. Firstly I made an adapter flange for end of the prop
So casual!
looking really smart though!

Fitted the hilux double carden prop this morning looks ok il just have to get it out for a run to see what it drives like

Now to sort the shocks. I am going to mount the astra shocks that were on before then replace them with some decent shocks with longer travel. Firstly made an adapter bar for the rear from 8mm stainless plate

Then a pair of brackets to mount pin top shocks. I have made these to pivot using a brass thrust washer and again all made from stainless steel

This sould have some pretty impressive articulation with the SPOA setup.

Very nice so pressuming the shock bracket will swivell on the 8mm plate or am I missing something? Looks like it really has been thought through

I can at least hope so they seem very flexible but I aint had it out the garage yet. Should have the bottom of the shocks mounted soon so il have to try it out of course.
