See not too bad really (not that great for an unforseen circumstance though)
My friend got a quote for £55 (not sure if it was +vat or not) for a SJ screen
Perspex rear and side windows, HMMMMM

Re: Dans Zook Build Updated 29/11
Need advice/opinions for my bumper
got lights covered (some nice led jobs on the way)
I think it needs to be higher but this was just by bolting the plates on and resting it on there.
do you think just bending the orange bits up untill its high enough will work
I plan to make up some bits like the green stuff to weld onto the orange bit to support it
do you think this will be strong enough as it will also serve as recovery points as well.
(2x 10mm bolts holding the orange plates on each side)
All opinions good and bad welcome

Re: Dans Zook Build NEED ADVICE/OPINIONS/IDEAS
put the tail gate in place to get a better feel for how it looks.
Drill the bottom mounting holes out to 12mm and use grade 8 or higher bolts and also tie the bumper into the rear body mounts so that you have 2extra mounting points, you might need to get rid of the top rubbers though.
I'll take a pic and show you what I mean.

For refrence here is a decent shot of one of my wheels. (Excuse the state of the discs )rgonzobull wrote:Oh no!!! Well hopefully someone else might know. Keep up the good posts. Cheers
And after searching high and low this is the best I can find online.
As seen here
Of course they might not be made by american racing at all and someone could have just used those centers

Re: Dans Zook Build NEED ADVICE/OPINIONS/IDEAS
Not a huge ammount to report
Have come back off nights and onto days and ended up with a horrible cold so trying to avoid going outside to much.
My new sealed LED tail lights arrived so I started having a look at the bumper.
In true southern electric style its the top of a lamp post (75mm tube) and I've trimmed the ends at a nice angle to give it some style
The lights
Making up some boxes to recess into the tube
I'm now stuck trying to decide whether to stick with just the 2 tail lights, or get a LED fog lamp and reverse light (same size as the tail lights) and add them in aswell.
Thing is they are £20 a pop so with delivery its another £50 to add the extras
I'm going to put a decent reverse light on the back of the truck anyway so might just get the fog light in LED.
I don't wanna compromise the strength of the tube by cutting to many recesses into it either
What do you think??
