Re: Project KJA
wow, they look pretty good, nice bit of lower bucket type support, but without being massive in size
axle looks good, really need to do that to mine, the rust shade it has at the moment is not nice, especially as they are so on display

Re: Project KJA
I'm hoping they will fit ok, I did ask the guy for some measurements but he didn't get back to me before it ended. Got them for£30. Only bidder lol
Finished the bearings today and started painting it, couldn't get it fully painted before it was time to go home for the misses to go to work :( I'll have to finish it tomorrow.
Cheers Ian

Re: Project KJA
Hi, picked up my new seats this morning. I've sat them in the cab and they fit very well. Just need to alter the runners to fit them. Needless to say they are very comfy and I'm very happy with my bargain.

Re: Project KJA
Time for a update, trying to crack on with the blooming thing.
engine has been stripped, cleaned and painted, im just waiting for all the brackets and stuff to dry so i can start putting it all back together,
the rear axle has nearly been finished, all the drums are together and the wheels are on, i just need to run the new brake lines. but since i put new oil in it it decided to start leaking from the input shaft,
ive also acquired some 410 springs with add a leafs, not sure what to do with them yet . might swap over the add a leafs to my springs and see what they look like.
ive also bought a power steering pump and pipe work, just need to find a jimny box to go with it.
still got so much to do, will post some pics when ive got a chance to take some.

Re: Project KJA
Evening,
Bit of an update, done a bit of work to the rear chassis this afternoon, but it got dark before i could finish it, so im going to finish it tomorrow, hope its up to scratch.
Had a look at the power steering pump + pipes, in good nick. might leave it till the engines in with the front on to see how it will all fit.
