@Jordi,when you have a mega big load on the back of that tractor unit how many gallons to the mile does it do ??? i doubt that it would be mpg more like gpm

Saving fuel. Job went slightly wrong and by half 4 they had only tipped one wagon. Dropped that boom off and loaded my unit onto the back.
Homeward bound, should be back in our yard between 1 and 2 on Sunday morning.

Someone I used to work with posted this picture on Facebook, when I worked at the steelworks it was a common sight, the engine is a Janus class Yorkshire engine company loco, originally it had different exhausts, but they had to add the silences due to complaints from the locals around noise levels, they had to fit them 'flush' to the cab to let it fit through the tunnel at stocksbridge.
I thought the photo was too good not to share!
