Re: just bought my first sj samuri :)
I've been thinking about a colour for it and tbh I quite like the stripes that are on it ATM but I was thinking about doing it bright green with black stripes and wheels along with the blamed out rear windows or visa verca. What colours would you guys recommend?. When I've been sanding it it's supposed to be white and I do like white but it shows up every single mark.

yeah robbie and green and black does look very smart!
I just didnt know if certain colours shown up more marks/dents then others as its going to be going off road as soon as it can but I still want it to look relatively good condition regarding the part work.

Does any body know how to get the grill sort of thing off just under the windscreen surround?? I've looked but the only thing I can see if to take the whole panel out with the windscreen?

it's part of the body, but if you mean how to get under it, do what robbie said
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

It catches all the water that comes down off the windscreen. There are some right angle rubber pipes that come through the bulkhead into the engine bay. Poke something up them and make sure they are clear.
They drain all the water out so if they are blocked, the water will be coming inside the car instead
