teeth grinding not tried with out the plate but spoken to company that make the plate and they rekon they have never had a problem>?

If it was me id start from the begining ie take the engine out with the gearbox put it on the bench and bench test it all as one and keep on moving the starters until you get it righ then lower it all back in- just my imput ;)

thing is i have had it out twice it works ok for bit then back to same old problem. lost hart with it now

me too i know its going to be a shame to sell it and i will never get what its worth but juat at my whits end with it!

one of those things mate ive spent £1000s at my sj and i would never see it back, but im happy to know that i wont because its a thing i like doing! everyone has to have a hobby! :lol:

Are you using new or second hand starter motors? What battery are you using? Is it fully charged? It's got to be something really simple.

il never get what it ows mate. i need to man up and just get bck out there and finish it! but realy dont know what to try next???

all been second hand one of which i removed from a working vitara

fully charged batt. good contacts from bat to starter ect. i know and reaoy dnt wanna sell as i know some luckyso and so will spot the prob straight away!
