parrots vit project

the plan is to take my swb vit cut the front and rear off,tray back and tube front then mount it on a home made chassis with my lux axles with 37" tyres and my vit engine and gear box.
work has already started on my chassis,im using 1oommx50mmx3mm box and lots of 6mm plate.

cut and bent some 6mm plate today for the spring mounts and cut some 60mmx40mmx3 for the body/cage mounts plus some 100mmx50mmx3.
hoping to get spring mounts/body mounts and gear box cross member fitted this week end and possibly fit the engine and box ready to make some engine mounts,will post again Monday night

thanks,the hard part is to come,cutting the body up and keeping the quality that ive started

body/cage mounts and spring mounts fitted just need to add lots of bracing

eeeeerrrrr thats dangorous that is not having a safety gaurd on mr angry, he bites if your not careful you know :lol: :lol: :roll:

keep it up matey and you know i'm just up the road if you need help lifting anything else! damn those hi lux axles were heavy :shock:

mr angry only bites if he does not like you(he must hate me he bite twice)

yea those axles are heavy and we will have the fun of them again in a couple of weeks

placed the axles under the chassis and taken the engine out of the vit,should get the gear box out tomorrow and fit them at the week end

fitted the gearbox today but by the looks of it the engine will be to close to the axle so i may half to do a 1 link on the front
