check your prop...

Post by firemansam » Sun Jul 06, 2008 7:24 pm

if you have a lift and no spacers or driveshaft modifications, then its probably worth having a gander at your shafts... ;)

i wondered what the severe vibration i had under acceleration was.
turns out the rear driveshaft had disintergrated and was hanging on by a thread.
My lift (3.5") articulates too much for the driveshaft, and causes rubbing. And over a year has worn away the U-joint ears.

cost me £100 to have the shaft repaired, luckily they had the part in stock on friday, as i was due to go wheelin saturday and today :)

purrs like a kitten now :D

have a look at yours!
