Ok the Suzuki LJ80 is not a heavy weight but I am getting too old to lug bits of tin about. So decided to spend a few hours building my self a giant BBQ. It's first job was to act as trolley as my house is 50 yards from where the LJ has been standing. The local village guys were a bit
perplexed to what this thing was but were happy to push after much arm waving and me using my three words of Greek. At one point, It looked like we were in for a trip pushing it all round the village as they thought the thing funny and look what the English has done now.

Once in the courtyard I balanced the body and found it was all worth the effort. In fact there is no effort, it turns using one hand and is making life a pleasure.

Mistakes in the build- If I built another I would use all box section. I used round tube on the bottom rails because I had some. I would have liked to use heavier tubing on the turning head but couldn't find anything at the time. It was also a mistake not to fit braked wheels, which I will change or learn not to lean too much.

Next, make the front floors. I have made the press and had a trial go but now at a halt. No steel, everybody shuts in Cyprus in August. So, frustrated for another couple of weeks. HO Hum This is Cyprus.
