ruf with longer shackles? and general spring advice

Post by d_r_1989 » Wed Aug 27, 2014 3:46 pm

Ok I know rear springs up front will have been covered loads of times but i cant find an opinion on an idea I had.

Basically is it possible to run rears up front with using some longer shackles and some sort of shackle stop to stop it inverting? Ive seen that people use misding links which is something im considering in the near future.

It flexs well at the minute but the ride is very harsh and has dropped a considerable amount on the drivers side so i need to do something ASAP.

I was thinking rears up front with extended shackles and possibly rascal rears.

I know this is the best place to ask!

Im not too sure about the shackles... but you may find that rascal springs are kind of hard to get hold of nowadays.

I don't think you will get away with just a longer shackle. You need to move the shackle hanger forward.
