OME Springs

Post by Matt » Mon Oct 20, 2014 1:23 pm

Where's the best place to buy OME springs for my 410? I don't want stupid high lift ones just as close to standard as possible

If you want something the same height as standard springs why not just use standard springs. They are softer than most of the aftermarket ones and are nice and cheap to replace when they die.

Problem is my standard springs all have only one leaf? Every time it gets driven off road it bends them? Mike recommended OME to me but I am open to suggestions

They sound like parabolic springs some sj's were fitted with them - my friend had a set on his 410,they were nice and soft on the road but bent them when he started off-roading, I would just swap them for ordinary spring packs and you will be fine,

llama 4x4 don't sell standard sj springs off the shelf but he can get standard height springs made but they will be of the same material and thickness as his 2" lift springs, so very bouncy and uncomfortable on the road.

I was talking with him today as I snapped a rear spring on the way home from my mot today!

im looking at the ones on ebay to be honest.. rear springs are 184.99 delivered with rubber bushes, no bolts though but they are easy to find. and front springs are cheaper at 139.99

just make sure they aren't the lesjofor (i think) springs... as people have all sorts of problems with them
