So heres my story, I'm a TNT delivery driver and saw this 1990 suzuki samurai santana when I was delivering to a farm, so went to see it today and it's not bad been left for about 6 years but I've seen the buyers guide on this site and where the usual rust should be it's not that bad at all slight sill rust but I read as it's a separate ladder chassis shouldn't fail the MOT.

Anyways more to the point of where I aspeccailly need advice is someones cut the ignition barrel wiring of the back of the barrel and need to now the correct way to put the wires so I can try make sure the ignition works and the engine turns over, I have read the wiring diagram but the colours from the diagram do not seem match up,

The colours coming strait from the barrel are I think 3 green with yellow streaks and one yellow, but after the connection block/plug the colours almost match up to the diagram there 2 thick ones, one is white with yellow streak and another blue with a brown streak, the 2 thinner ones are green with yellow streak and black with ether white or possibly yellow streak.

Would really appreciate the help and advice I'm going to look at it again tomorrow so hopefully can try the ignition and turn the engine over if it turns over ands not seized I will most likely buy it :)
Thanks in advance
Danny

Second diagram down is the santana. http://forum.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/vi ... =11&t=2097
Seems to match although the copy on my pc I have marked the BYG wire as Blue/Brown.
I must have picked this info up somewhere, but I forget (old git!)

So I'm going with this
