Hi All I have just got my Jimny 2002 auto, When i was out in the car was running great
Then the engine management light came (flickering) It loses power and stops
Got the very nice RAC man out, He checked the mangement systems all ok
He thought it was a bad earth / battery / problem cleaned all bits,
And away i went, It ran for about 10 miles, Then started flickering again and stopped
Leave it about 1 minute And away we go "Runnig fine
Has anybody had anything like this problem ?
Help please any ideas Cheers John

I've hardly any experience with Jimnys engine management but based on previous similar posts I would say check cam/crank position sensors.

^ those are the usual culprits

Very unusual problem. Someone has cut the wiring loom in the boot of the my Suzuki Grand Vitara (2011) 1.9 DDIS and the auto electrician says that I now need a replacement body control ecu.

I've looked on ebay and various websites but I'm unable to source one. Has anyone got any suggestions please?
