Got the block in sort of the right place today... missing the engine mount brackets though.
Spins free and cylinder walls aren't scored so might be OK

The head however is a different story so the search for another will begin!

Mostly dismantled the head, apart from the valves... Everything in there looks OK, mostly the mating surface that is shit

A few pics from today... had to cut all the bolts for the roof support/rollbar... chopped a bunch of rust out (still more to go) ... started preparing the rear passenger side wheel arch for vl

Got about half of the first wheel arch finished... pics to follow when its done.

Got the "carbs" i ordered today, turns out they are actually throttle bodies... injection 410 it is then...

Is this going to be a slightly longer version of your SJ?

Is the rear going to be done out like a limousine, I know you like your comforts! :hahaha: :hahaha:

Yeah its going to be a slightly longer and slightly turbocharged version of mine ;)
Will probably get a 1.6 16v eventually!

Wheelbase is 93.5" I think? Samurai is 80"
