I need to change the thermostat in my 2004 grand vitara 1.6 engine. Ive noticed 2 types that are available. One opens at 82 degrees and other type opens at 88 degrees.
Which is the best to fit?

if used offroad a lot it wouldn't be a bad thing to run the lower temp thermostat

It is only used on road. Generally for short journeys of 2-3 miles.
