Sorry mate to far away. Is it standard or modded? In what way is it bad, wobbly, bouncy, wandering?

As Robbie says, whats the symptoms?
Poor handling and ride quality are kind of a characteristic of them depending on how bad it is.
Can be steering damper, wear in bearings, steering box wear? Poorly balanced wheels?
“Dodgy” mods?
Tell us more bud and we’ll see what we can think of.

Firstly, I have really liked your rebuild and what you achieved.
Secondly, having put all that time effort and cash into your LJ, it is such a shame you seem to have fallen out.
Thirdly, possible items that may affect your driving experience. (a) distorted rim. (b) drive shafts out of alignment on splines (c) 4wd engaged? If you have access to four axle stands they could be easily and thoroughly checked.
Certainly be interested to hear some detail about your LJ's symptoms.

is It the olive green one? Might be the wheels that you rebuilt. Has it still got the original steering set up? That is a terrible setup apparently

Nope, it is not the olive green one, that is mine and may well handle really badly because it does have all the original steering etc. but until the motor is in and running I will not know.
I think the 'help' is needed for this one:
which if it is, you can understand why you are being asked for help.

That’s very nice and looking at the front hubs it totally standard. I’ve been told that they suffer really badly from bump steer, all to do with the steering arm setup. I’ve done a disc conversation on the front, using 410 parts, although it’s not finished
There is a link to it somewhere, will have a look and post it up

Is that the 'Disc Brakes' article, juncopartner in 2013?, how do you open the images (or is it my computer?).
How does the disc brake conversion improve the handling?

Yeah that’s the one. I didn’t look at it, so sorry don’t know about images The discs improve braking and the steering rods improve bump steer, instead of having the one bar with ball joints on each end and one in the middle, which pulls the front wheels in on a bumpy surface. Now you have SJ which pulls in just one direction
Did that make any sense at all
