Hello :welcome: vin should be on the chassis behind the drivers side front wheel, could be the other side? Should also be a plate in one of the footwells near rye door

I’ve not had any luck trying to do it for one of my LJ80s.

Spoke to the DVLA and they said if I just apply for a v5 using a v62 with as many details as I can for the vehicle then a cover letter stating that the reg is unknown they can usually still process it all.

Welcome,

As scottie said apply to the DVLA with the chassis number and various forms required.

Should be able to get an age related number plate. Unlikely you’ll be able to find the original, unless it’s been etched into any of the window glasses?
