Good evening folks. The Strangest thing has just happened. I have a 2008 Sx4 which I love to bits. I went to the petrol station, listening to the radio as you do. I filled the tank, paid, started off again and the word HELP has appeared on the display of my radio (PACR07). I'm stumped. It won't even switch on. I don't have the code as my vehicle docs were ruined a few years ago when water was getting into the passenger footwell (long story). It wouldn't even matter if I had it as the radio won't even switch on. Can anyone advise me as to what I can do? Thanks so much.

Sounds nasty.
I usually replace the standard radio unit with an aftermarket unit (currently Pioneer) - is that an option for you ?
Sometimes you can get a useable code from the internet but I am not sure that is possible with the PACR07.
Aftermarket radios are not very expensive and often have more features.
