What Plug is this?

Post by Rankine » Tue Nov 07, 2023 4:03 pm

Been putting the dash back into the lwb and I've managed to get most of the connections back in right places, I think 🙃

Don't recognise this one tho

5 wires coming from it and is located just under steering colum but I can't see anywhere it would plug into and I don't have any notes for reference as I didn't remove the dash myself.

Any help would be very appreciated thanks

Cheers Scottie, I'll have another look around them already put 2 plugs in but couldn't see a third there.

There will be more questions soon 😂

Cheers Scottie that was exactly where its for. I don't suppose you have a non blurry santana samurai wiring diagram? Few wires different places ill need to trace out.

I think the green wire goes to the bottom connection and brown to the bottom?

If you save the image off the forum it should be less blurry after you download it.

I thought it was green to the top and yellow/green to the bottom it it’s the flasher relay wiring you mean 🤔
Some might be brown and green though 😅 ill could check a loom in the workshop. Tbh if just try it both ways, one will work, the other won’t but it won’t kill anything if it’s the wrong way around

Cheers again, I'll give it another bash trying to download them, managed to get the 410 but colours weren't matching up.

Glad to hear nothing will blow tho 😂

Good chance I'll end up changing the fuse board down the line, some things I'll need to remove as there's a rear wiper loom in there to but I don't have a rear window so probably get rid of it all

Would 100% recommend ditching the Spanish fuse board.

They are crap 🤣 and they can get a bit hot on certain circuits 🙈

I swapped my LWB over to a Japanese loom.

On Adam’s Sj I swapped in some clip together aftermarket fuse and relay holders after the above happened. Dan2k had one almost catch fire on a laning trip in Wales as well a few years back. 😅

I'll probably go down the aftermarket route give myself some extra options for any thing I decide to add in.
