Hi all just a quick one, a while ago i made up an adapter for my su carb and basically it was ok ish but i want to re do it as its to tall and ices up . I used a bent tube the first time round but was thinking of a straight tube(with a water heated jacket) this time just cut at the ends to give the appropriate angle for the two plates if you see what i mean, would this work the same way or do you have to have a bend? I cant see it making a differance as it will still be mounted in the side draught position, any thoughts guys ? All the ones ive seen fabricated are 90 degree bend type affairs.Pics of yours would be nice !
Thanks
rich

sounds like a nice little project there mate! do you know why the sjs inlet manifolds are so prone to ice?
is a hot air feed from the exhaust good enough?
thanks
