hi all,
does anyone know the regulations for having an in ternal tank and getting through an MOT??
do i need a fire wall?? how does it need to be strapped down???

im thinking about using a plastic marine tank, strapping it down to the floor/rollcage behind the driver/passenger seat in the SJ, with the filler hose running to just behind the drivers door, moving the old filler cap too.

these are the tanks i was thinking about using:

Make sure it is bolted to the floor, and there is a line to atmosphere (usually a small breather line)

Mine pased mot no probs, but scrutineers at the trials can be a bit iffy...

I've know a Defender whose diesel tank was 6 jerry cans piped together sitting where the passenger seat used to be, and that was road legal.
