If i did this i'd probably add some nice pro-comp shocks as well...

A few guys on difflock have used them and they all highly rated them!

If you did get the ad-a-leaf kit get them from dave at llama as he is the UK importer of rough country products, everybody els buy them from him then add more ££££

For what its worth I have fitted a complete set before to a Sami and it will give 1 1/2 " - 2" of lift but it makes the ride rock hard. Second time round went halfs with a mate and we fitted add-a-leafs to the front and a good set of sensible shackles to the rear.

The add-a-leafs were originaly designed for the back of pick up trucks carrying heavy loads so are fine when fitted at the front with the weight of the engine, At the back of an SJ there is no weight so the leafs cannot flex so it just bounces.

I love my sj with this set up. You can really chuck it round with the tight front end and softer rear.

The kit itself is great to fit with full instructions (make sure you fit as per the instructions) and even comes with a new long bolt to re-bolt the leaf pack togeather, and as already mentioned Dave at Llama is spot on.

they are good unless you have parabolic springs, with parabolics it can bend the main spring and cause it to form a w shape

They defo do make the ride quite stiff but I have seen some trucks still flexing reasonbly well with them fitted!
Rich's idea sounds like a good one to me!

My mate used them and made his flat sagging spring like new again.

He's now put a 2 inch lift on so I think his are going begging. Not 100% sure though. He may wish to pop them on ebay and have you slog it out for the bset price though!
