Leaking/disconnected windscreen washer hose

If I use the windscreen washer, the pump works, but no water comes out of the jets - I have checked the jets and they are clear. Water then drips into the car. My assumption is that the hose has become disconnected from behind the jets - but how on earth do you get to it ? I have scoured my service manual, but can't find any reference and with my very basic knowledge, I am stumped.
Any advice gratefully appreciated, thanks

Soft top is easy... just unscrew the windscreen bolts at the top... then fold the windscreen forwards

There are small one way valves in the tubes, these sometimes block up and dont let the fluid through. If you have a hard top you can get to some of it by removing the clocks and going through that way but it's a bit of a pain in the ass, you ideally need to remove the dash.
I just ripped mine out and did this.

Hi sorry, Its a 1985 SJ413 soft top that I have owned for 25 years. The windscreen has never been folded down - is there anything that I should be wary of ? Thanks everyone for advice. This site is brilliant. I will post some pics of my last trip to SW France in 2009.

Wow, so you have pretty much owned it from new
Fair play to you matey! You must love it
easiest thing to do would be to fold the widscreen down then, just be careful of the seal, if this has perished or gets damaged during the job it could end up leaking afterwards. 90% of the time it is fine though
so i would worry too much!

The windscreen is a piece of cake to take off... there are Philips head bolts in the top corners of the screen...
These hold the windscreen on at the top... just take the little right angle brackets off... should be 2 or maybe 3 bolts for each corner.
Then there's the clamps on the side of the dash, just open them...
Just be careful cos when you push the windscreen forward the wiper motor is attached to the bottom of the screen.
As you push the screen forward, the wiper motor pivots up, and will pop the cover off the top of the dashboard where the motor is (if you haven't already taken it off).
Just watch out as sometimes the motor will just pop the cover off, sometimes it will break it...

Here are some pics on my beloved SJ413 in SW France in 2009. I know the ribbons/bows look a bit cissy, but we went to a mates wedding. PS not all the kids are mine.
