help leaf spring

hi all im new to the group and just after a bit of advise with my sj413 i have just for round the farm but i would like to take it to other sites to offroad. but not sure were to take it (near merseyside) as it not road leagal. also ive just snapped the rear drivers leaf spring should i try and source 1 on 2nd hand or whats best heard bout rascal leaf springs being used. tho its all on a tight buget . what do you think is best route ? thanks

The thing people do is put rascal springs on the back, then put the rear springs on the front to give about the same lift.
You could get rascal springs for the back, but you would have to raise the front to match.

Closest place to you is probably hill and ditch. Its an old sand quarry and is quite a nice site, but be warned the sand gets

... and destroys your brakes, clutch, starter, alternator.
Make sure you wash EVERYTHING when you get back!!!

Wheel bearings fuel tank etc!
I rebuilt my starter 3 times that day. Never going there again. Stay out of the water and you should be ok. I still find sand in the sj now, 2 years on

Normally each trip to Slindon off road site costs me £100+...
£30 for entry, £10 for fuel, £80+ on repairs :(

sounds familiar
, i think slindon is well known for breaking starter motors etc
just the sand gets everywhere and kills your waggon

Yeah the only things I've broken at other off road sites are the wingmirror and the end of the throttle cable!!!
