Hello from the "Colonies"

Hi! My name is Ack - the Acks' FAQ guy.

Aside from the webpage, I own a modded '88 Samurai and a stock '02 Tracker (Vitara) LWB 2.6 v-6. Bonus: My granparents emigrated from the Midlands. Of late, I have become an Anglophile of sorts and am learning all about the "common language that separates two great nations". :hahaha:

I hope that I can be of some small assistance here and can learn more about the Zukin' world outside of North America!

aluminum = aluminium
color = colour
ass = arse
hood = bonnet
trunk = boot
chips = crisps
fries = chips
carburetor = carburettor
jello = jelly
jelly = jam
mom = mum
gray = grey
mould = mold
tyre = tire
pants = trousers

Asian Automotive 1.6-8-valve with a Sumo Cam (Calmini adapter)
Thorley header
2.25" exhaust
Sarge-prepared Weber DGAV 32/36 carb and intake manifold
electric fuel pump
4.5" Breeze SPOA
Doesch Tech shocks
Used Rocky Road Stage II Over The Top (OTT) steering (no bumpsteer!)
Rocky Road DIY rear bumper (need replacing...)
Zuks Offroad front bumper with LED turn signals (Triden EP-34 JSO electronic turn signal relay)
Zuks Offroad Brass "shifter sheet" for both the Transfer Case and the Transmission
Zuks Offroad RockBiters rocker panel armor (the red thingies...)
Harbor Freight 8000 pound winch
stock transfer case gears
4.625 front "TrackickVit" ring and pinions with Yukon rebuild kits in the differentials
1986 SAS 4wd Toyota Pickup front driveshaft mated to the rear axle with Rock4X "Ratadapters"
First-gen Ford Exlorer "Wagon-Wheels" shod with 9.50x30 BFG AT/KOs
Sidekick seats
NATO 7mm Ammo box in place of the radio box
(whew!)

Runs like a scalded monkey on the highway plus it's not bad offroad!

Nice one, it looks pretty sweet!!!
You've obviously put a lot of work into it... Our aftermarket parts are really expensive here :(
