what size tyres do you run russ?

if no more than 31s i'd say go back to spua but with rear springs up front and a small shackle lift in the rear to compensate for the height difference. (did i just say that :S lift shackles :?: yeah i did, on the rear i think little bit of extra length wont hurt too much!)

I've still got shackles on the back of mine still. Its not really a problem because by the time they hit the floor you're normally well on your way through the obstacle ;)

i run 215 15 diamond backs.

no good on the road.

with SPOA....

got a standard set of steel rims with standard tyres.. off a vitara... but also got a set of chrome-ish rims with 245 road tyres... look like bubble tyres.

revert back to SPUA.... i dont want to upgrade the size of the engine as i have recently as in the beginning of the year forked out for a moded manifold and an SU carb.

anyways i wouldnt put a petrol in again.. i would go with diesel.

looks like im stuck with the 45mph for awhile.

so your tyres are around 28" tall then, in that case you don't really need any lift at all and I dont understand why you can only do 45mph? my 970cc lump with a 410 tbox & 30" tyres would hit 70mph easy enough :smokin:

keep the 413 tbox as it is higher geared than a 410/lobster box(so lower revs at a higher speed) and get your air/fuel ratio and timing checked.

Something really isn't right if you can only do 45mph :er:
