My Name is Phil and I am from Wolverhampton. I have just bought myself a SJ. I have owned a Vitara in the past, but in general my 4X4 history consists of Defenders. I had heard that the SJ was good off road and was after something to go greenlaning with that was cheap and here I am. I have a 1988 SJ sitting on the drive and I am hoping that within the next month or so it will be ready to go.
I look forward to chatting with you and I am all ears to all words of wisdom you can throw at me!
Phil.

This is a picture taken not long after getting her back home.
We have stripped the interior out to clean it out. The roof has been removed because it was in a bad way. The dodgy homemade shackles are in the process of being replaced. She has had a full service and the exhaust has been mended to stop a blow. Since the picture the paintwork has been mopped and any rust has been removed ready for filling and painting.
Not bad for 3 days work!
What is special about the 88?
