Erm... so why is it not registrable?
Surely you could just bring it here and get it IVAd/SVAd/whatever'd.
Swap bits from legal SJs if necessary...

I got in contact with Gary Collins who works for Suzuki in New Zealand.. He says that the Farmworker is imported from India and that the reason it can't be registered for the road is that it doesn't meet the frontal impact regulations. He also said that the vehicle is not homologated or designed to be exported so will not be sold in the uk.
Bummer.

Can you ask him for a chassis diagram? If the chassis is the same surely you could just stick all of the stuff on an older UK LWB chassis...
It's not like the chassis really rusts is it?

It will be exactly the same as the old LWB sjs Twiss, Suzuki wouldn't fork out any money that they don't need to on redesigning a chassis for no reason.

Correct..

It's Maruti Suzuki.. Gypsy King from New Delhi,India..As for the chassis diagram the guy from New Z could only give the info from Maruti's web site.

I have a chassis diagram from New Zealand attached to an email.. Tried to post it on here but it keeps coming up "The extension pdf is not allowed"
