Quick question

Post by Christoff » Sat Oct 15, 2011 11:39 am

Went to the anus this morning I'm about to strip the heater box down and clean it

There seems to be moisture around the footwells and back of dash at bottom. Around the pedals, heater box and bulkhead. Where does this come from?

Is it just condensation from been stood all night and then warmed up in this mornings sun ?

Or is it because there might be defective door seals / bulkhead grommets or the holes iv left in the arches ????

Ta

I've had these drains block with leafs before now making the whole airbox fill with water. When I went around a bend it would pee on my feet :yuk:

Hi darrell. Right on the money there my friend

I had a poke around there this afternoon and found those drains were both blocked.

When I disconnected them from the heater box inside I could feel more crap inside so I fished as much out as I could. I wanted to remove the whole thing and clean it properly but could not get the dash out. The heaters all work fine and the drains are now clear so I guess that will do for now.

Sometimes if I turn the fan up to max I get a bit of dust in my eyes but it's only for a second

I'll check those in mine too, because after rain I often go to my truck and find a puddle on the floor mat in the drivers footwell.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
