fuel sender!

Right boys and girls! Will a jimny fuel sender fit a standard sj tanks? As the jimny senders are a lot easier to find and a lot cheaper!

I'm going to say no. I don't know if they would fit or not, but the gauge and sender need to be the right type to get the correct fuel readings. It may work but I doubt it.

Have a word with Mike, he's been breaking a few SJ's. http://www.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/phpBB3/ph ... =18&t=3808" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don't think so, as SJ's have 2 or 3 different sender types.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

I know there are atleast two different fuel senders on a SJ, but the jimny one looks a lot like the one on my SJ, I just didn't want to wee wee the best part of £50 on something that won't work/fit!

Just out of interest, where did you find the jimny ones for sale. I thought they are a complete pump/sender/filter unit on those.
I only know of 2 senders for the sj, one with just the 1 connection (part No 34810-80001) and the other with 3 because it has a low level indicator (never seen a pic or part No).
