All I can say is what a Hack if that thing is on the road he must have a dodgy MOT tester with that huge hole in the floor for the transmission.

A 200TDi too. Those things are tough as shit, but gutless, unresponsive and dirty.

Depends what you want 'em for. They're tough but don't exactly perform, and they're often dirty running too. I think my Mum got lucky with her 300TDi, as I've never seen it do black smoke, even when floored. White smoke when the cylinder head went, twice, yes, but no black.
