hi I have a red Sj410 1988 and have enjoyed driving it and working on it for years. Unfortunately I haven't the time to continue to maintain it. I dont want to scrap it because I want someone else to enjoy it, was wondering if anyone on here wanted to buy it off me?

Welcome to the site, I personally wouldn't scrap it, I imagine you would get at least £200 for it even if it was rotten & in bad shape! some people use them on private land so even knackard ones are worth sommething

Can you tell us what sort of work needs doing to it? and if you posted some pictures up you might be able to drum some interest! Finally where are you located?

1988 SJ410 Red
It's had a Samura engine put in it, I've done the head gasket.
It needs a new starter engine and a battery(buyer would have to be able to transport it from the Buckinghamshire area).
The back drivers side window has been smashed-someone tried to rob it a moonth ago.
The body work needs attention Highlighted in the pictures by making tape. I have the bull bars just not attatched.
No mot or Tax.

Bang your SJ on Ebay/spares or repair... Don't scrap it.

i think it was definitely worth putting it up on here where all the enthusiasts are, and personally i would be dead keen on it if it where closer to me, i love the rag top. but out of curiousness did you have any price in mind?
