Which Shocks?

Hi,

i need a new set of shocks for my project,

Procomp and rough country have been recommended to me but im unsure which ones to go for,

es1000,es3000,es9000 or rough country

has any one got any advise

for some reason when i read the title, i thought it said winch socks :screwy:

What do you want to do with it when its done?

it will probably be used mainly for running about in, odd jobs, fencing, fire wood, lots of field work. that sort of thing,

and will be used for off roading so im after a sort of in-between shock,

rough country is lama 4x4 ?

I would say, for that type of use, with front and rear winches, you need a procomp 3000 style shock, something that can cope with the weight when needed, but not be too much without

Am sure there is a rough country substitute for that

I also run es 3000 still a very good damper, just profer the rc's most probably exactly the same With a different sticker haha

I've emailed Dave at llama, he messages me back with some advice, im going to ring him this week to clarify a few things. He advised I use +2-3 shocks and extend the shock mounts a bit to get the most out of it.
